SiMPore's membranes are naturally suited for the life sciences. The well-controlled and tunable pore sizes of our membranes cover the range from small molecules through proteins and even viruses. For cellular studies, we offer the world's most permeable membrane. In fact, our membrane isn't much thicker than that of a cell. We enable unhindered communication across a membrane for the most realistic co-culture and differentiation studies. Our unparalleled optical tranparency enables live fluorescent imaging at any focal plane.

Electron Microscopy Products

The thinnest plasma cleanable window films allow you to image better than ever

SiMPore offers the highest quality window films for electron microscopy. Our 5 nanometer thick pure silicon is the first window grid to have less inelastic scattering than ultrathin carbon while also being plasma cleanable. Our products are used at many of the prestigious Department of Energy National Laboratories as well as numerous other international labs.
